Green woodworking in Wales

Come and join a unique and unusual green woodworking retreat, deep in the woods on the borders of the Brecon Beacons.

Led by Ben Kehler of Benjamin Trees, you'll have the chance to start - and hopefully finish - the project of your choice. We'll have the choice of making spoons, spatulas, stools, chairs, shave horses and hazel fences. Due to course lengths, we'll generally have material ready and waiting for you, but sometimes we might take a wander to find just what we need. See individual course details for options available.

These are fun, relaxed sessions, focussing on basic skills as well as the tools we use and knowledge about different kinds of woods and their uses. The days finish with a lovely campfire, food and, perhaps, a bit of music.

I mention it plenty, but keep in mind that we're looking at a real basic, off-grid experience. Make sure you check out our stay in the woods page to see what facilities we do (and don't) have.
