Bushcraft & foraging in Wales
Come and join a unique and unusual bushcraft and survival skills retreat, deep in the woods on the borders of the Brecon Beacons.
These are fun, relaxed sessions, focussing on basic skills as well as the tools we use - and can make - plus lots of information about bushcraft and off-grid survival. Topics covered will include: basic shelter building (with tarps or natural resources), water sources and treatment, foraging, fires, signals and mindset.
Health and safety is a key feature of all our retreats, and each session/weekend begins with full orientation and briefing. The days finish with a lovely campfire, food and, perhaps, a bit of music.
You can sign up for a single day session - we'll cover all the basics and have lots of fun - or make a weekend of it, allowing more time to learn and practice new skills, and use your own-made overnight shelter.
For accommodation, there are lots of lovely B&Bs and hotels in the area. Of course, you're welcome to camp in the woods, but the facilities are pretty basic.
