Bushcraft & foraging in Wales

In 2026 we're kicking off with half-day sessions for all ages - from next year, we'll be offering full 1- and 2-day retreats too.

Our foraging walks will be led by the wonderful Graham Glue, of Sleeping Giant Foraging. Graham is a foraging expert with over 15 years' experience as a qualified walk leader.

Our forage walks last around 3 hours - with nice tea break (local biccies and bara brith cake provided) - taking in a variety of habitats including verges, mixed and conifer woodlands.

Graham will talk about foraging for food, wellness and health - we'll look at preparing wild leaf salad and wild mushroom soup, as well as making various soothing balms.

We'll meet in Pentre-bach village at 2pm and start walking from there - for these half-day sessions, you can park around the village and also in the pub car park; have a look at our access plan.
